Support to Increase Patient Organization Involvement at Future American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Convergence Meetings

Patient Organizations and Allied Research Collaborators

Over the past decade, many Patient Organizations (POs)  have met with the ACR to discuss ways to increase their involvement at the annual Convergence meetings. These efforts have paved the way for discussions today, as the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and their ACR Convergence Planning Committee (ACR CPC) are currently working on strategies to rethink the structure of their annual meetings.

The ACR is interested in restarting conversations with representatives from POs - and their allied research collaborators - to determine ways increased PO involvement could improve programming and strengthen attendee experiences. As a global, patient-led nonprofit in the rheumatology space, the International Foundation for Autoimmune & Autoinflammatory Arthritis (AiArthritis) will be collecting signatures from PO and allied research collaborators, worldwide, who are interested in continuing these conversations with the ACR and their 2022 Planning Committee.*
